  Salman Khan and Eid are synonymous to each other. The actor has always pre booked Eid for his movie releases. However, this year, there could be strong competition between Sallu and his arch rival Shahrukh Khan, as the latter plans to get his film hit theaters on the festival. Buzz is that this Eid, Salman Khan might not be able to meet the festival day’s deadline, as his film ‘Mental’ hasn’t rolled out yet. Initially , SRK keeping in mind Sallu’s Eid jalwa every year, wanted to push the release date of Chennai Express a little further, as he wanted to avert any sort of BO clash with his rival’s film. However, now that Salman’s film might not make it on Eid, Shahrukh’s plans have changed. The gown had side cut-outs which we saw emerging as a big trend on Spring 2013 runways.  Naomi Watts   stood out in a high neck, long sleeved oxblood   Zac Posen   gown with a long train, keyhole detail and open back. 2013 Filmfare Awards   were held at Yashraj Studios in Mumbai last weekend and here is a look at the best dressed divas from the event.   Deepika Padukone   is easily the most consistent best dressed star on the Red Carpet. She scored another hit in an on-trend fashion forward black cut-out gown with sheer inserts from Prabal Gurung. She paired it with a slicked back ponytail, orange lips and studded Loubs.   Anushka Sharma , took a risk that paid off. Dressed in a draped high neck open back bright yellow Victoria Beckham gown she looked statuesque. Her make-up and hair was a throwback to the sixties with big hair, dark lips and cat eyes.   Illeana D’Cruz   sparkled on the red carpet in a plunging Roberto Cavalli beaded gown with a flapper vibe. She did her hair up in a loose updo with face framing waves and accessorised with a shimmering clutch and drop earrings.

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor has been named showstopper for the second consecutive year for Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2013. She will flaunt creations by Namrata Joshipura who is the grand finale designer. The five-day fashion festival will start here March 22. "Yes, Kareena, being the brand ambassador of Lakme, will be walking the ramp for the finale. She is quite excited about it," said Purnima Lamba, Head Innovations Lakme. Kareena tied the knot with Saif Ali Khan last year and Lamba added he may join the audience in the front row. "Saif is busy with his shoots, so he might come to admire her, but since the show is more to do with women, so he might not walk the ramp," she said. As the finale designer, Joshipura plans to display a blend of contemporary and modern designs on the ramp. Priyanka Chopra is one of the few A-list Bollywood actresses who has never have done an item number. But now, she will be seen doing one in director Sanjay Gupta’s Shootout At Wadala (SAW). Of course, the model-turned-actor-turned-pop star does not come cheap.
