English Translation of Al-Quran [24].Surah An-Nur [The Light] Ayat  46.  We have indeed sent down (in this Qur'an) manifest  Ayat  (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, lawful and unlawful things, and the set boundaries of Islamic religion, etc. that make things clear showing the Right Path of Allah). And Allah guides whom He wills to a Straight Path (i.e. to Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism). [Tafseer] of Ayat  46.  We have indeed sent down signs that make things manifest: and Allah guides whom He wills to a way that is straight.  If we translate by the English word "guide," we shall have to say: "Guide us to and in the straight Way." For we may be wandering aimlessly, and the first step is to find the Way; and the second need is to keep in the Way: Our own wisdom may fail in either case.
