Actress Vidya Balan whose look in the film 'Ghanchakkar' is a fashion disaster and Emraan Hashmi who is playing a con man who is lazy in the film launched the song "Lazy Lad" in the look of their character. "Vidya is crazy and Emraan is lazy in the film. This song is a tribute to all the husbands and boyfriends and this song is part of the film," director of the film Rajkumar Gupta told reporters during the launch of "Lazy Lad" song. Actor Emraan Hashmi was mobbed while shooting for Ghanchakkar on the Eastern Express Highway. Director Rajkumar Gupta says the crew has now shifted to night schedules. "We are shifting to night schedules to avoid confusion and traffic snarls. So from now on, we are going to shoot at night," Gupta told IANS. The outdoor shooting Dec 5-6 involved Emraan to walk on the highway as well as drive a car. Gupta says they are yet to shoot a "lot more outdoor sequences with Emraan". After people spotted Emraan, the crowd started to swell. In an hour's time, there were around 5,000 people. The result was a huge traffic jam on the expressway for two consecutive days. Ghanchakkar, which also features Vidya Balan, is slated to release June 21.

Recently, Ekta Kapoor announced that she was taking the cast and crew of her next production, Ek Thi Daayan, to Allahabad to attend the Maha Kumbh Mela. Now, we hear that of the lead cast comprising Konkona Sen Sharma, Emraan Hashmi, Kalki Koechlin and Huma Qureshi, Emraan and Huma may not partake in one of the most famous rituals at the event — the holy dip. Ekta says, “We’re going to take it as it goes. Huma and Emraan are going, but I don’t know if they will take the holy dip. It’s not a compulsion. It is strongly connected to the Hinduism, but it’s more spiritual than religious.” Emraan, on his part, seems excited about the trip, but is reluctant to take the holy dip. “I’ll see once I’m there. For me, it’s about going and seeing the entire ritual. I’ve heard so much about it; now it’s time to experience it,” he says.
