~~ Crime v/s romance at box office this Friday ~~

Image
New Delhi: The first Friday of March has two entirely different movies hitting the box-office. If 'I Me Aur Main' is a romantic drama, 'The Attacks of 26/11', is a crime thriller based on the 2008 Mumbai terror attack. 'I Me Aur Main' revolves around three characters played by John Abraham, Chitrangada Singh and Prachi Desai. Ishaan (John) is a charismatic, good-looking music producer from Mumbai. He stays at his girlfriend Anushka's (Chitrangada) house and takes his elder sister (Mini Mathur) and his mother (Zarina Wahab) for granted. Fed up of his flirtatious nature, Anushka throws him out of her house. Left with no option, he moves into a dilapidated house. While his mother leaves his father and moves in with him, his sister and his best friend are upset with him. During a time when his life is going nowhere, his new neighbour Gauri (Prachi) comes into his life. From her, he learns the importance of relationships. He takes initiative to mend and mainta...

~~ Prachi Desai is back with 'I, Me Aur Main' ~~

Image
Prachi Desai is Bollywood's quintessential girl-next-door. After an impressive start with 'Rock On!', Prachi broke the 'homely' mould with her bold role in 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai', followed by 'Bol Bachchan' and 'Teri Meri Kahaani'. Here is a pictorial ode to the pretty Prachi, who is back with 'I, Me Aur Main, releasing on March 1.

~~ Prachi glad to play her age in 'I Me Aur Main' ~~

Image
Mumbai: Prachi Desai is happy that with ‘I, Me Aur Main’ she finally got to play a role she always desired. "I can finally heave a sigh of relief that I have got to play a role that is of my own age. It has come to me a little late but, as they say, better late than never," the 24-year-old said here on Wednesday at the launch of Neutrogena videos that will be first shown on their Facebook page. "All the roles I got before this were way beyond my years. I have always played somebody older than actually me. I am so glad that I got this character, Gauri to play," added Prachi. Prachi plays an ultra-modern girl Gauri in 'I Me aur Main', which also features John Abraham and Chitrangda Singh in prominent roles. It will hit theatres on March 1.

~~ Prachi to play princess in '1920' ~~

Image
Mumbai: Bollywood actress Prachi Desai will be seen playing the role of a princess in the third instalment of Vikram Bhatt's horror franchise '1920'. The 24-year-old, who made a successful transition from television to films with projects like 'Rock On', 'Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai' and 'Bol Bachchan', says she has never played safe in life. "I am doing Vikram Bhatt's '1920'. It is a horror film, but I will not be wearing white clothes and coloured lenses or scary make-up. I play a princess in that film. I will have a wide range of looks in the film," Prachi told PTI. "The film is based in 1920 and we will be shooting in London. I have not done something like this so I am really looking forward to this. It feels good to experiment," she said. Produced under the ASA banner, the film will also mark the directorial debut of Tinu Suresh Desai. If everything goes as per plan, the film will be released next year. The act...
