Chennai: Theatre artist Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli, popularly known as LP, who is foraying into films with upcoming Tamil comedy-drama 'Sutta Kadhai', would always like to be known as an actor. "Since I come from a theatre background, I'm extremely passionate about acting. Having forayed into films, I want to remain an actor and do roles that are performance-oriented, instead of being called a heroine for being glamorous," Lakshmi told IANS. "I wouldn't even mind the length of a role, but if there is scope for performance, then I'll be more than happy to do it," she added. LP is actively involved in theatre with Chennai-based theatre group called Evam. She has been working full time with them for the last five years.
