The "controversial" bikini round has been dropped from the 63rd Miss World pageant. However, the organisers have settled for a lesser but visually appealing round - Beach Fashion - which had the contestants sashay by the pool in pretty vibrant sarongs. As many as 130 contestants from 130 countries strutted their stuff in sexy sarongs. Femina Miss World India 2013 Navneet Kaur Dhillon wore a pretty box-print sarong which accentuated her contours. The 63rd edition of Miss World began amid tight security on the Indonesian resort island of Bali after days of Muslim hardline protests that forced the venue for the beauty pageant to be moved. As many as 131 contestants from different countries, competing for the coveted title, put up their traditional dance performances at the glittering opening ceremony in Nusa Dua on Sunday. Though the bikini wear round has been dropped from this year's pageant, contestants will be seen sporting sarongs for the beach beauty round. Femina Miss India World 2013 Navneet Kaur Dhillon is representing India at the international beauty pageant. A mass media student from Punjab University, Navneet aims to "become a global ambassador for India, break into Bollywood and work alongside NGOs."
