The stars were out in force in London on Sunday night for the British Academy Film Awards. Standing out from the crowd in bright, colourful dresses were Jessica Chastain and Marion Cotillard. The pair looked stunning in their electric blue and canary yellow dresses respectively, and made a refreshing change to the black dresses that nearly every other celebrity was wearing.

The BAFTAs red carpet was awash with experimental and flamboyant hairstyles. We spoke to Jessica Speechly Head of Hair Colour at Errol Douglas Salon to round-up her standout hair looks from the night and tips on how to achieve the look at home. "Dame Helen takes a chance with her hair colour", says Jessica, "and it pays off!" This longer execution of the pixie cut and fun skin-tone flattering soft baby pink makes an entrance.  "When choosing a hair colour from the pop spectrum, avoid colours that will be too harsh for your skin as it can strip older skin of its glow," explains Jessica.  Dame Helen also has the personality to pull this off, and shows age really isn’t a barrier to occasion hair fun”
