New Delhi: After the success of her movie 'Aashiqui 2', actress Shraddha Kapoor seems charged to secure a position in Bollywood. She is well aware that comparisons with her contemporaries are bound to happen and is up for it. The 24-year-old wants to focus on her work and improve herself rather than focusing on the rat race in the film industry. "Comparisons are inevitable whether I like it or not. Aashiqui 2 Opening Weekend Collection Rs 13 Crore .Aditya Roy Chopra and Shraddha Kapoor starrer “Aashiqui 2″ has done a pretty good business in its opening weekend. The film seems to wooing up at box offfice with a decent figure of approximately Rs 13 crore in the opening weekend. It is quite a interesting start for the film at the box office despite of the tough competition from the hollywood flick “Iron Man 3″. Made on a small budget of  Rs 12 crore, the romantic action film managed to earn Rs 6.35 crore on its first day and Rs 6.75 crore on its second day of release, according to a statement. The film is expected to perform much better in the coming days. The audience are getting attracted to the romantic film due to its highly popular songs.

Directed by Mohit Suri, 'Aashiqui 2' stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Shraddha Kapoor and Shaad Randhawa. "The story is a personal one... it deals with the people that you are. ‘Aashiqui 2’ has at its core a story that is simple and emotional. It is not larger than life – the film is one that you might feel deals with somebody that you know, someone who is around you.  Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, who is looking forward to the release of 'Aashiqui 2', says it is a very different film from 'Aashiqui' but the emotion of love remains the same. Bhatt directed the 1990 hit romantic film 'Aashiqui'. The film, starring Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal, was a commercial success particularly because of its music and songs. While 'Aashiqui 2' is directed by Mohit Suri, it stars Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles. "'Aashiqui 2' is very much different from 'Aashiqui'. That film was set in the 90s, this is in 2013. So as the generation has changed, the narrative of the film has also changed," Bhatt told reporters at the film's music launch.
