Chennai: Tamil actor Vinay Rai will woo three debutante heroines in upcoming romantic-drama 'Senthatti Kaalai Sevatha Kaalai', which will also see him in a double role. "Samuthirka, Kaambari and Shilpi Verma are the female leads of the film, which will be helmed by Saran. Vinay will essay dual roles for the first time in his career," said a statement from the production house. Sreejith Ravi, K Gnanasambandham, Ramraj, Muthuraman, Sana, Rithika, Theni Murugan and Pradeep Rawat are also part of the film's cast. The movie will be shot in places such as Thirunelveli, Mumbai and Hong Kong. Vikram Raj has produced the film, which has music by Bharadwaj. The team is currently shooting in Thirunelveli. Meanwhile, Vinay is currently busy with three Tamil projects - 'Endrendrum Punnagai', 'Onbadhula Guru' and 'Iruvar Ullam'.

Chennai: Tamil actor Jayam Ravi is set to work with his director brother Jayam Raja for the sixth time in an upcoming, yet untitled action-drama. "Ravi and I are exploring a new genre on a massive scale and it will be a new dimension in action and family drama category. For nearly six months, enough care has been taken in sketching a fresh story and a challenging screenplay," Jayam Raja said in a statement. The duo has worked together earlier in Tamil films such as 'Jayam', 'M.Kumaran S/o Mahalakshmi', 'Unakkum Enakkum', 'Santhosh Subramaniam' and 'Thillalangadi'. AGS Entertainments will produce the film, which will go on floors starting May. Work is on to rope in technicians and other artists for the project. Meanwhile, Jayam Ravi is awaiting the release of his forthcoming Tamil action 'Aadhi-Bhagavan', releasing on Friday. He is also busy shooting for Tamil action-drama 'Bhoologam'.

Chennai: Singer Bappi Lahiri will visit Chennai on Thursday to release a Tamil number he has crooned in upcoming romantic-drama 'Karuppampatti'. "Bollywood music legend Bappi Lahiri is coming to Chennai to release his song from the film 'Karuppampatti'," a source close to the film's unit told IANS. Lahiri has crooned a number called 'Disco Naughty Naughty Raja' in the film, which is directed by debutant Prabhu Raja Cholan. This will be the first Tamil song for the 60-year-old. While Ajmal Ameer plays the lead in the film, Aparnaa Bajpai and Alice Tantardini too have prominent roles. The film also features Archana, M.S. Bhaskar, Jagan, Srinath and Devadarshini. Sundar K. has produced the film, which has music by Kannan.

 Directed by G.N.R Kumaravelan, Tamil film 'Haridas' stars Kishore, Sneha, Prithviraj Das, Soori and Pradeep Rawat. "'Haridas' is built on a simple and universal concept that the first hero of every child is his or her father. The relationship between a single father and his autistic son is explored through this film. In simple words, it celebrates fatherhood," director Kumaravelan told IANS. "In our country, autism is still treated as a disease. Autistic children are either discarded or put in a special school. I attempt to break all such cliches through this film and I am positive that I will succeed in this effort," he added.
