Designer Manish Malhotra presented a vibrant festive and pre-bridal collection on day one of Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2013. The collection, called 'Reflections' displayed a gorgeous synergy of Indian traditions, cultures, rituals and colour spectrum for the fusion line. The hues of Rajasthan and Kutch came alive on the ramp as models swirled around wearing creations in rainbow tones of deep green, dark beige, tan, burgundy, pink, red, navy and mustard with mirror work. Manish showcased the stylish 'ghagra-pant' - a fusion of the Sharara and classic pant - which is touted to give some alternatives to the traditional 'lehengas'. The men's wear exuded elegance with kurtas teamed with wide salwars, dhotis or dhoti pants, sherwanis with narrow trousers, while bundies in varied colour contrasts over kurtas were masculi...

Now that the success of 'Vicky Donor' has helped him find a firm foothold in filmdom and when his 'Nautanki Saala' is ready to come out, Ayushmann Khurrana says there is no butterflies-in-stomach feeling -- thanks to the Sippys. The romantic comedy has been directed by Rohan Sippy and the actor said his association with Rohan and his filmmaker father Ramesh Sippy gives him confidence. "I am with the Sippys and that is why I am not facing any pressure. They made 'Sholay'. I was narrated the script in the same room as 'Sholay' was. There can be nothing bigger than this," Ayushmann said at the launch of the film. Talking about the content of the film, Ayushmann said: "There are no hidden meanings in the dialogues. It is a fun film. It has drama and theatre." The film also stars Kunaal Roy Kapur. Talking about their theatre background, Ayushmann said that the theatre training helps a lot.
