~~ 'Dhoom 3' ~~

Image
One hot villain and uber stylish bikes have been synonymous with Bollywood's popular 'Dhoom' franchise -- and if the teaser of 'Dhoom 3' is anything to go by, Aamir Khan, who plays the baddie, will take the series forward with full speed. Aamir showcases his chiselled body in full glory, and he vrooms away on the bike, performing daredevil stunts with what seems like the ease of a professional biker. Unlike the previous two movies, which starred John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan as the bad guys, 'Dhoom 3' has gone international with a larger plot. We will have to wait until December 20 to see whether 'Dhoom 3' manages to surpass the success of Shah Rukh Khan's 'Chennai Express'. The teaser, which was released on September 4, opens with the sound of a bike's vrooming, and the camera then zooms in to show Aamir's muscle power. He gives a poignant voiceover, and then begins the chase. Abhishek Bachchan as supercop Ja...

First Look: Aamir Khan's 'Dhoom 3'

Image
An ominously stormy sky, skyscrapers, choppers flying in the air and a topless man watching all this standing behind a window - this is the first look of the much awaited film 'Dhoom 3'. It's dramatic and makes you curious. Although the face is not visible, the man in the poster looks like Aamir Khan giving a glimpse of his well-toned body, something which audiences appreciated in his 2008 hit 'Ghajini'. He is seen wearing a pair of trousers and has teamed it up with a hat. The film is scheduled for a Christmas release, an auspicious time for Aamir's films, and the poster's tag line proclaims: "This year will end with a Dhoom". The 48-year-old is playing an antagonist in 'Dhoom 3', the third installment in the franchise that started in 2004 with John Abraham playing the villain. Hrithik Roshan played the negative role in 'Dhoom 2'. It is reportedly said that Aamir has used a lot of acrobatic skills to pull off heists in ...

Aamir was like a child on 'Dhoom 3' sets: Abhishek

Image
New Delhi: Abhishek Bachchan, who is working alongside Aamir Khan in his upcoming film 'Dhoom 3', says the star is like a child on the sets of the movie. Bachchan is reprising his role of ACP Jai Dixit for the third time in the action franchise while Aamir plays the main antagonist. "It's absolutely brilliant to be working with Aamir. You get to learn so much. He is so much fun on the sets. He is like a child on the set, he is so involved and enthusiastic about everything," Bachchan told PTI. When asked about his equation with Aamir during the shooting, Bachchan, 37 said, "I think every actor learns from other. As an actor you feed off the energies of each-other. I see my father still learning from a lot more junior actors than him. So I think as an actor you learn from everybody and you should." Bachchan said it was a challenge to play the same character thrice as he had to add new elements. "The challenge is how do you repackage that ...

~~ Aaradhya will decide her career: Abhishek Bachchan ~~

Image
New Delhi: Abhishek Bachchan says daughter Aaradhya will have the liberty to choose a career for herself and a parent's job is just to give "love, care and good education" to the child. Abhishek, married to actress Aishwarya Rai, has a daughter named Aaradhya. She turned one in November 2012. He was in the capital to be the part of designer Ritu Beri's annual kids' fashion show, organised to create awareness for autism and raise funds to support underprivileged children. When asked about why Aaradhya was missing from the action on the ramp, Abhishek said: "I had lot of fun coming here. I am a film actor and these children (who walked the ramp) are much better than me. Talking about my daughter, I think it is completely her (Aaradhya) choice, let her decide her career as and when she wants too." "Currently she is in Dubai and very small, but I am sure she will be happy to lend her support to such causes when she grows up," he said. The 37-ye...
