 Dubbed as "India's Michael Jackson", Prabhu Deva has wooed the audience for over two decades with his impeccable dancing skills and a spate of hit films. Following his father's footsteps, Prabhu donned the dancing shoes 40 years ago. He went on to revolutionise street and freestyle dancing in India. Prabhu also tasted immense success in his other forays - acting and filmmaking. Come 2013, he is all set to make an acting comeback with India’s first 3D dance film - 'ABCD: Anybody Can Dance'.

For Vishnu (Prabhu Deva), widely regarded as India's best dancer, dance is more than a passion - it's the reason he lives! So when he finds himself thrown out from the dance academy he himself set up, by his manipulative business partner, it feels like life has been sucked out of him. Heartbroken, Vishnu decides to give up dance and leave Mumbai forever. However, the night before his departure, he witnesses a most amazing sight - a group of dancers preparing for the upcoming Ganpati Dance Battle - an annual festival that pits Mumbai's best dance groups
