'Agneepath' was declared Album of the Year at the 5th Mirchi Music Awards. The film also collected Song of the Year ("Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin"), Male Vocalist of the Year (Sonu Nigam for "Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin...") and Female Vocalist of the Year (Shreya Ghoshal for "Chikni Chameli..") awards at the event held at Yash Raj Studios. Other prominent winners include Ajay-Atul (Music Composer of the Year), Javed Akhtar (Lyricist of the Year) and Amitabh Bachchan (Living Legend with a Golden Voice).

Asha Bhosle, Hariharan, Shilpa Shetty, Ajay Devgn, Vishal Bhardwaj, Sameera Reddy, Himesh Reshammiya, Roop Kumar Rathod, Meiyang Chаng, Sona Mohapatra and may other celebrities were present at the 5th Mirchi Music Awards.
