Next, wrap a section of hair around the band and pin under the pony for a neat finish. Tip: pin on a faux fringe if you don’t have a real one.

 This deep red lip is all about an excess of pigment. Pick a shade of maroon with blue undertones and layer it three to four times for lasting impact. Leave the rest of your make-up minimal, barring a generous slick of mascara.
