~~ 'Nautanki Saala' unveiled! ~~
Now that the success of 'Vicky Donor' has helped him find a firm foothold in filmdom and when his 'Nautanki Saala' is ready to come out, Ayushmann Khurrana says there is no butterflies-in-stomach feeling -- thanks to the Sippys.
The romantic comedy has been directed by Rohan Sippy and the actor said his association with Rohan and his filmmaker father Ramesh Sippy gives him confidence.
"I am with the Sippys and that is why I am not facing any pressure. They made 'Sholay'. I was narrated the script in the same room as 'Sholay' was. There can be nothing bigger than this," Ayushmann said at the launch of the film.
Talking about the content of the film, Ayushmann said: "There are no hidden meanings in the dialogues. It is a fun film. It has drama and theatre."
The film also stars Kunaal Roy Kapur. Talking about their theatre background, Ayushmann said that the theatre training helps a lot.
"Every medium is different. I had to unlearn a lot of stuff for the film. We had a 25 days' workshop. But theatre training helps a lot," said the 28-year-old who is also doing 'Hamara Bajaj'.
Both Kunal and Ayushmann have been theatre actors and they had their share of struggle too.
But Ayushmann seems to be fine with it and added: "Everyone struggles in theatre, but it is fun. If you enjoy the journey then it no longer looks like a struggle."
'Nautanki Saala' is slated for a April 12 release.
