Huma Qureshi has turned hotter for Ek Thi Daayan

 

 Huma says she doesn't care about any rumours surrounding her camaraderie with Gangs Of Wasseypur producer Anurag Kashyap.

 "Both Anurag and Kalki are my friends. As for Abhishek, we have just started shooting together a month back."

 If grapevine is to be believed, Huma's link-up with Kashyap, who gave Huma her debut project Gangs Of Wasseypur, is causing trouble in the filmmaker and his wife, actress Kalki Koechlin's life.

 "At the end of the day, I don't want to say anything about it. I just laugh it out. I rather let my work do the talking. Ultimately, today you will talk about it, tomorrow you will forget about it. Eventually what matters is your work," she added.

 Huma rubbished the allegations and said "My life is really not as exciting as it is made out to be. Pardon me if I sound cocky, but it seems those who are spreading such rumours don't want to recognise my talent and hard work."

She claims that it is easy to malign someone by saying: 'Oh she must have managed to bag the role because she's having an affair with the director'. 

In the meantime, Kalki and Huma are awaiting the release of their film Ek Thi Daayan, which hits the screens April 19.

Kalki has hardly been seen during the movie's promotions. Directed by Kannan Iyer, Ek Thi Daayan also features Emraan Hashmi and Konkona Sen Sharma.

 Actress Huma Qureshi might not be the glamorous diva but, she wowed movie buffs with her power-packed performance in Gangs of Wasseypur. This pool of talent is gradually making her way up in Bollywood. Grapevine says that it might have to do something with her alleged link-ups with her directors. We say, maybe or maybe not!

 "I don't give a damn to these kinds of reports. If I let it bother me, it will affect my relationship with people who have helped me, who have believed in me. It will affect my work and I don't want these stories or anything like that to affect my relationships with people who I care about, who have mentored me," said Huma.
