 Prominent names from Bollywood, including veteran writer Javed Akhtar and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, turned up at a special screening of 'Bombay Talkies'.

The screening, held at Light Box in Santacruz, also saw celebrities like Ranveer Singh, Randeep Hooda, Gauri Shinde, Punit Malhotra, Abhishek Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Sonam Kapoor, Ritesh Sidhwani and Kalki Koechlin.

'Bombay Talkies is lovely, lyrical, aching. It made me smile and cry. And it made me understand why I love Hindi movies so much. Do watch,' said film critic Anupama Chopra via Twitter.
