~~ Met Gala 2013: when punk goes wrong ~~

 

It's one of the fashion industry's biggest events and last night celebrities turned up in their droves at the Metropolitan Museum in New York for this year's punk-themed Met Ball.

While some celebs nailed the punk theme and managed to look as gorgeous as ever on the red carpet, there were some real shockers on show - yes, we're talking about you, Madonna!

Most disappointingly, this year's honorary chair and all round wonder woman Beyoncé, hit a far-too-low-cut note in a Givenchy haute couture gown with matching boots and gloves. Meanwhile, Ashley Olsen thought it would be appropriate to wear a Halloween-inspired pumpkin gown to the opening of the Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibition.
