Recently I was able to live out a childhood fantasy visiting the set of the most recent instalment of the X-Men franchise ‘The Wolverine.’ Having collected X-Men comics since the age of eight this particular trip held a special meaning for me. Like many X-Men (and comic book) fans I have loved seeing my childhood heroes come to life on the big screen but with recent instalments being less than impressive, all I could do hope and pray that this would be the film to turn it all around.
