CFDA Awards 2013: all the outfits

OK, we're calling it: she may not have picked up a gong, but Nicole Richie was the hands down fashion winner at last night's CFDA Awards.

The reality TV star turned fashion designer turned general clothes horse killed it in a silver Marc Jacobs gown at the US equivalent of the British Fashion Awards, dubbed the 'fashion Oscars'.

Nic completed her look with a Christian Louboutin clutch, a sleek up-do, berry red lips and an ample helping of side boob, all of which combined to make for one of our favourite red carpet looks in a long time.

She was joined on the red carpet in New York by fashion's finest, including models Erin Wasson, Alessandra Ambrosio and Miranda Kerr, fashionable faces Mary Kate Olsen andOlivia Palermo, and CFDA president and designer Diane Von Furstenberg.

The event saw fashion designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler named as Womenswear Designers Of The Year, whilst Thom Browne picked up the Menswear award. Vera Wang was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement award.
