Peter Jackson has released some exciting stills from his upcoming movie The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug on Facebook.

The legendary movie director teased the following snaps, which include pictures of Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins and a shot of Orlando Bloom reprising his role as Legolas.

In this snap, Bilbo looks like he's found himself in a spot of bother - will his combat skills have improved since An Unexpected Journey? We're hoping so!
