1. What is ISLAM?

4. Who was Muhammad (S.A.W)?
In brief, Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was born in a noble tribe of Mecca in Arabia in the year 570 AD. His origin goes back to Prophet Ishmael (P), son of Prophet Abraham (P). His dad passed away before his birth and his mom passed away when he was six. He did not be attend at a official school or university since he was brought up first by a nurse (Dayye) as it was the custom of those times, As a younger man, he was known as a righteous person who used to meditate in a cave. At age 40, he was given the prophet hood when the angel, Gabriel, showed up in the cave called Hira cave. Consequently, the revelations continues over 23 years and were collected by means of a guide known as the Quran which Muslims consider as the ultimate and the last term of God. The Quran has been maintained, the same, in its unique type and verifies the fact in the Torah, the psalms and the Gospel.
