 A master of fashion and luxurious taste, Italian designer Roberto Cavalli, with his unique and exquisite creations, has conquered closets of Bollywood celebrities. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor are two popular names who don Cavalli often. What's interesting is most of Aishwarya's Cannes appearances feature creations by the master designer.

Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma and Malaika Arora Khan are some of the other celebs who have been spotted in elaborate Cavalli numbers.

The genius might be one of Aishwarya's favourites, but he found his muse in Sonam Kapoor. "Sonam is one of the most beautiful women in India and the most promising actress of her generation, her natural elegance and amazing body embodies perfectly my designs. It was for me an obvious choice to invite her and arrive with her at my first boutique opening in India, as we have such a privileged and beautiful relationship," he said in an interview with India Today.

Known for animal prints and heavily sequined gowns, the 72-year-old designer also has a fondness for sarees. He said to IANS, "I love Indian sari, I love to watch them. They are vibrant, colourful and inspiring. They are so beautiful and I think I am not the only international designer who will agree with that."
